With this spaetzle plane or spaetzle maker you can quickly make home made Spaetzle. Make the dough, put some of it into the hopper, onto the pot with simmering water and push the hopper back and forth, letting the spaetzle shaped dough drop into the hot water.
Making slightly thicker dough and pushing a little slower you get longer Spaetzle, similar to typical Swabian Spaetzle or Faedle, having slightly softer dough and quick moves will get you to round shaped Spaetzle typical in Austria, Bavaria and Allgäu, which are as well called Knoepfle, Nocken or Nockerl.
You can serve spaetzle as side dish serving goulash or roulade, you can as well turn them into a main dish making them with cheese to habe Pinzgauer Kasnockn
or having Wild Garlic Spaetzle
For cleaning take away the white plastic pusher or hopper, which you can slide down the plane and rinse all in cold water. As the spaetzle maker is made of stainless steel you can put it in the dishwasher.
