At the End of April, to the first night of may, the witches gather together to celebrate the night of Walpurgis. For the English speaking world Halloween might be of more interest concerning magic, sorcerers, witches and other fantastic creatures which is later in the year, when the crop is in, harvest ended at the end of October, to the night of the first November. Most comparable to Halloween is the so-called Fasching or Karneval, Carneval in February, small and adult people dress up and eat sweets. Who is not into dressing up and camouflage, might rather have a look at the most known German poet. You can always intonate "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" by Goethe when backing biscuits with these very unique cutters: " ...Back now, broom, into the closet!
