Carrots, parsnips and other roots are not only healthy for eating, they are eye candy as well. If you look at our felted crochet versions you will find out that they are an exceptional and funny wrap for very special presents. The DIY set contains two balls of wool and some additional meters of a third colour and a handicraft instruction of several pages with many step-by-step photos. The carrots are crocheted first and felted afterwards.

Your can choose between the DIY sets orange carrot and yellow carrot:
the crochet & felt set for the orange carrot contains: 1 skein new pure wool orange, 1 skein ne pure wool meadow green and some meters of yellow, 1 instruction;
the DIY set for the yellow carrot consists off: 1 skein new pure wool sun yellow, 1 skein new pure wool light green, some meters of orange, 1 instruction.
Our wool is from an Austrian wool manufacturer and felts perfectly.

You can choose the size of the carrot as you like it. You can make small carrots which are an ideal gift wrap if you want to gift money. If you crochet a little longer you will get an extraordinary gift basket for bigger presents.
You get two varieties how to make carrots, depending if you want to make gift wraps in different sizes or if you prefer several carrots in the same size. You can either produce many small carrots or a really huge one and use it as a bag, a cushion or pillow or if you have a brave First Grader it could be a very creative version of a "First-Day-of-School-Surprise-Cone". Especially for Easter the carrot gift wrap is a sweet way to box gifts and presents.
To make this lovely carrot you need basic skills of crochet and for felting we recommend a washing machine. The good thing about self made and felted products they are washable.
